Artists Statement

 

I want to alter the mood, change the atmosphere, instill a sense of wonder with the viewer getting lost in the painting and taking time to find their way back.

I let my mind go free. All ideas...colors, shapes, textures are filtered to their essence and captured in a moment of time. Using materials such as resin, gels and wall compounds mixed with acrylic and oil paints, ink and pigment I create layers of color and texture that help the viewer not only see the piece but experience it.
